Rouge et Blanc is made possible through the generosity of area sponsors, restaurants, wine vendors, expert presenters, and patrons. A group of community volunteers also make this annual event possible through their tireless work and dedication to celebrating culture and diversity in Southwest Louisiana.

Rouge et Blanc serves as the flagship fundraiser for Banners at McNeese State University, allowing for funding to the annual Cultural Series in March & April, as well as off-season educational components through the Banners Engages program.
IMBIBER PROGRAM
- Imbibers:Â Purchase $250-$499 in wine (pre-tax) from the previous cycle of Rouge events.
- Imperial Imbibers:Â Purchase $500+ in wine (pre-tax) from the previous cycle of Rouge events.

- Exclusive access to the Main Tasting for Imbibers from 2pm to 3pm

Rouge et Blanc is an event series and celebration of food and wine hosted annually by Banners at McNeese State University. This event is the flagship fundraiser for Banners, an arts and cultural program that serves the five-parish area in Southwest Louisiana.
Many wine experts and renowned area chefs volunteer to share their expertise with attendees. The Banners staff and community volunteers work hard to keep the wine dinners, seminars, and other events fresh and engaging each year
The idea was born as a fundraiser to support the mission of Banners, which promotes lifelong learning and cultural diversity while enhancing the quality of life throughout Southwest Louisiana.
Entry will be by E-Tickets. You may show the ticket on your mobile device or bring a printed copy. The E-ticket will be scanned and you will receive your lanyard and glass for entry. There will be a designated person at the entry tent to assist if you arrive without the E-ticket but this will cause entry delays.
We do not keep a waiting list. People will generally sell their tickets on our Rouge et Blanc Facebook page if their plans change.Â
Each patron who purchases $250 or more of wine (not including tax) at a qualifying Rouge et Blanc event becomes a member of the Imbiber program. The totals are compiled on a pre-tax basis under the name used on the order forms. Benefits include the opportunity to purchase two gold tickets to the following year’s event.
Rouge et Blanc is an outdoor event. This is a tasting with each restaurant and wine vendor giving you a small sample of their best food and wine.Â
We do not allow anyone under the age of 21 on site. This means babies, toddlers, and teenagers. No exceptions.
The Grand Tasting will occur regardless of the weather. Alternate plans are in place in case of adverse conditions.
